**Does Cable fund the battery and installation?**
Cable funds and owns the battery and arranges installation. Your personalised offer sets out the separate deposit, its return conditions and any early-exit charges. We agree the installation scope and any additional site costs with you before work starts.

**What will I pay?**
Your electricity bill includes usage at one flat rate per kWh, 24/7, plus a daily supply charge. Annual CPI adjustments and your agreement’s rate-change terms apply. Your personalised offer sets out the separate deposit, its return conditions and any early-exit charges.

[Read on the website](https://www.cable.energy/faq#what-will-i-pay)

**What if my power use spikes?**
Using more electricity increases your total bill. Cable absorbs network demand charges rather than adding them to your bill. If your electricity needs change substantially, your agreement explains how that can affect your rate.

[Read on the website](https://www.cable.energy/faq#what-if-my-power-use-spikes)

**How is the rate set, and how often does it change?**
You pay the same usage rate per kWh at any time of day. Your three-year plan includes annual CPI adjustments. Your agreement explains when other rate changes can apply, including a substantial change in electricity use. Your total bill depends on your usage and the daily supply charge.

**How does Cable actually make money?**
We charge the battery when wholesale electricity prices are lower and use that stored power when prices rise. Managing when we buy electricity helps us offer a flat usage rate and earn a margin.

**What's the 3-year minimum term?**
